Outreach goes into receivership

Outreach Housing, a Margate-based foreclosure rescue company, was
placed into receivership by a state court. Its principal, Blair Wright,
is now banned from certain business activities. The Office of Financial
Regulation earlier sued the company, alleging it was wrongly taking
money from homeowners in foreclosure. The agency said Outreach took as
much as 65 percent of homeowners’ regular mortgage payments to help
them stay in their homes.
