Miami builder Lennar and a group of southwest Florida residents have sued Knauf Plasterboard and its Chinese subsidiaries for selling defective drywall paneling that’s led to odors and building problems. Lennar said it had more than 80 houses with drywall defects, and the state health department had gotten about 65 complaints. Parker Waichman and Alonso LLP of Bonita Springs filed a class action lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Florida on behalf of Shane M. Allen and Nicole J. Allen of North Fort Myers and other homeowners who may be adversely affected by the drywall.
