Developer George L. Ford III successfully dropped his price on a new home at 756 Slope Trail to $5.96 million, a sizable drop from its $10.3 million market debut in December 2007. The five-bedroom, six-and-a-half bath residence is situated atop a hill next to the town’s historic Art Deco-style water building, and it overlooks the Palm Beach Country Club golf course. The new owner, according to property deeds, is Christopher Dacamara Orthwein, son of Adolphus Busch Orthwein, former vice president of operations for Anheuser Busch.
