Transacta Prive Developers asked city commissioners yesterday for an extra three years to apply for building permits for a proposed 18-story hotel. Commissioners said they’d delay the decision to April 21 so the new city commission can weigh in after a new mayor and at least two new commissioners are sworn in on March 17. In January, Ocean Wave Beach Resort got a delay for a beachfront hotel. Commissioners also delayed the development of the Stay Social Hotel, approved for construction at Sunrise Boulevard and State Road A1A, two weeks ago.
