State Supreme Court looking for foreclosure solutions

Overloaded by the foreclosure cases coming into the court system, the
Florida Supreme Court announced yesterday that a statewide task force
has been formed to look for ways to process the court docket backlog.
The task force, which has 15 members, will try to find ways to
integrate the various rules state circuit court judges have come up
with to manage foreclosure cases. Judges have sometimes required
mediation for homeowners involved in a foreclosure case, and others
have required lenders to give homeowners contact information for
non-profit legal help.
