Condos sued in West Palm Beach

Buyers struggling with high unit prices and strained personal finances have sued West Palm Beach’s newest condo buildings, Two City Plaza, CityPlace South Tower and City Palms. The suits allege the developers induced buyers to commit to the units and promised to help flip the properties for a profit. Other buyers planned to live in the units, but delays in closings kept them from occupying their condos until their own financial situations had deteriorated. Only 166 of 1,175 units have closed in the three projects.
