A beachfront property in Pompano Beach where no construction has ever taken
place is now slated for sale at a foreclosure auction. Huntington National Bank won an
$11 million lawsuit against property owner Crosswinds at Pompano Beach, who had cleared the land for residential development after
purchasing it for $8.9 million in 2006. The auction will take place
March 25 at the Broward County courthouse.
