Federal prosecutors have asked Bernard Madoff to forfeit his
8,700-square-foot home at 410 N. Lake Way in Palm Beach, according to
a notice U.S. Attorney Lev L. Dassin filed Monday in federal court.
The two-story, five-bedroom Palm Beach home is listed in the name of Madoff’s wife, Ruth. She paid $3.8 million for it in 1994 and it would be worth about $8 million in today’s market, according to Linda Gary, a local
broker.
