How to avoid a moving scam

The Today Show’s Matt Lauer talks to Barbara Corcoran about moving and storage scams and how to avoid them. Moving scams include adding extras to an original cost estimate once the person’s belongings are already in the moving truck, changing the moving deal at the last minute, or not delivering items on time. Corcoran, founder of the Corcoran Group, said the best ways to avoid a moving scam include not giving a deposit and not signing a contract with blanks in it.
