Lennar sees rise in home sales

Stuart Miller, CEO of Miami-based homebuilder Lennar, said the company saw an increase in sales of new and previously-owned homes in February and March. But Miller said he doesn’t think the numbers are an indication that the housing market has stabilized yet. And despite the increase in sales, the homebuilder reported higher losses in the first quarter of this year than in the last quarter of 2008.
