Drywall lawsuits continue

A Boynton Beach homeowner has filed another class-action lawsuit over defective drywall made in China as Broward County Mayor Stacy Ritter stepped up calls for random inspections. The panels, used in houses built between 2000 and 2008, give off foul smells and have corroded wiring and metal fixtures in many houses. China’s General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine told the Xinhua news agency it is “very concerned” about the negative reports about the building material.
