West Palm pier opens

The West Palm Beach waterfront facelift continues today, when officials cut a ribbon on a new $8 million pier. The 444-foot project is the first piece of a renovation plan that’s been in the works for 16 years. It includes beach rehabilitation and projects to link the area to downtown business and entertainment districts.
