Target opts for wind power

A West Palm Beach Target store could feature wind power in aisle 15 — the retailer is considering putting up a 100-foot windmill to provide at least 5 percent of its power needs. Mayor Lois Frankel said the plan for the 150,000-square-foot building on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard was getting a cautious but interested reception. The blades would be on a vertical, rather than horizontal axis, said designer SkyDrill Power Systems of Fort Worth, Tex.
