Rentals rise at vulture sale site

The vulture investor who purchased 140 unsold units at the Whitney, a downtown West Palm Beach condo, has hired Lang Realty to lease them. Lang’s spokesperson Lisa McKeon said 47 units have leased, at lower than market prices for new condos. She said the $900-a-month one-bedroom units are gone, but there are still one-bedroom units for $1,000 and two-bedroom apartments for as low as $1,300 a month.
