Palm Beach County commissioners decided this morning to postpone for a year their decision on whether to charge developers $936 more to build a new home in the county. The $10,000 that developers currently pay to build moderately sized single-family homes goes toward roads, parks and services. Commissioners said they will wait until the market starts to recover before making a decision about raising the fee.
