South Florida sales climb for week

Pending sales rose 4.4 percent last week for Florida condominium units, townhouses, and single-family houses, a total of about 600 properties. There are now 14,183 existing contracts, according to a new report from real estate consultancy Condo Vultures. The Florida Association of Realtors’ Multiple Listing Service said recent contract volume works out to an average of 86 deals a day. There are still 90,382 condos, townhouses, and single-family houses available, the company said. TRD
