Broward condo tops foreclosure list for first quarter

Tides on Hollywood Beach, a condominium in Broward County, had the highest number of new foreclosure actions filed in the first quarter of this year, according to data released today by Condo Vultures. Lenders took action to repossess 44 units in the project, with outstanding loans of more than $13 million. Of the 20 condominium and townhouse projects in South Florida with the highest number of foreclosures, 11 are in Broward County, said Peter Zalewski, a principal with Condo Vultures. Six are in Palm Beach County and three are in Miami-Dade County. TRD
