Trump resort gets green rating

The Trump International Beach Resort in Sunny Isles Beach got a One Palm rating from the Florida Green Lodging program for its eco-sound initiatives. The program was established by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and has recognized environmentally conscientious lodging facilities in Florida since 2004. Eco-sound practices upheld at the resort include: use of an energy efficient air filter, active recycling in all guest rooms and offices, a towel and linen reuse program, the recent installment of a high energy efficient lighting system and utilization of all-natural and eco-friendly product lines and procedures at the salon.
