Drywall probe picks up

Federal lawmakers are pressing for an accelerated testing program to check Florida homes for defective drywall paneling. In the state, the Florida Department of Health has set up a portion of its Web site to keep residents updated on developments. An estimated 36,000 of the approximately 100,000 U.S. homes with the smelly, sulfurous and corrosive material were built in Florida.
