The Broward County housing market may hit bottom ahead of neighboring Miami-Dade County, as the volume of April home sales was 28 percent greater in the northern area. Broward prices may have reached their lowest valuations faster, say real estate brokers. Beth Butler, chief operating officer for Esslinger-Wooten-Maxwell Realtors, believes Broward is four to eight weeks ahead of Miami-Dade in sales activity, though Miami-Dade single-family home sales rose 98 percent and condo sales jumped 70 percent. Broward home sales climbed 33 percent and condo sales 39 percent.
