Property tax values in Miami-Dade County fell 9 percent over the past year, according to numbers released today by the county property appraiser’s office. The drop is the county’s sharpest in the last 25 years, and since 1985, property tax values have dropped only once. Within the county, North Bay Village, Homestead, Normandy Shores and Aventura saw the biggest declines.
