Sentence in Coral Gables mortgage fraud

Jose G. Martin was sentenced to 65 months in prison and ordered to pay $3.2 million in restitution for his role in seven fraudulent property sales. He pleaded guilty to wire fraud in April after using straw buyers to purchase houses, pocketing the mortgage proceeds and then letting the properties slide into foreclosure.
