Mortgage scams multiply

Scams proliferate at the same rate as foreclosures, and in Florida, that’s a dizzying array of crimes. Most mortgage rescue outfits are not what they claim to be. Investigators say the numbers of fraudulent programs are proliferating and the Federal Trade Commission is now giving special focus to the crimes.
