Drywall consultants meet in Orlando

First came the smell, then came the corrosion, then came the lawyers, who gathered in Orlando along with home builders, insurance company representatives and construction consultants to discuss the scope and scale of the Chinese drywall crisis. Hundreds of complaints in South Florida and other areas have created a cottage industry of consulting on the apparent defects and possible health problems that may stem from the defective building material. Forensic investigator Dan Bridge, who got his start working on black mold issues a decade ago, joked that he keeps a shrine of a piece of drywall in his home.
