The United States Postal Service will hold a public meeting tonight on a proposal to sell the Palm Beach post office building at 95 North County Road. The postal service announced plans to sell the building in April despite local residents’ opposition. The building, designed by architect Louis Simon, was built in 1936 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It received a landmark designation from the town in February.
