Promotions are in full force at some Palm Beach hotels, which are looking to boost summer occupancy rates. The Breakers dropped its lowest priced room from $249 a night to $225, and garden-view rooms at the Four Seasons are down to $225 a night, the lower off-season rate for rooms that fetched $579 in February. Brad Cance, general manager at the Ritz, said many guests are taking one vacation this summer and hoteliers want them in Palm Beach.
