Kid ban illegal, suit says

A North Palm Beach condominium broke federal housing laws when it wouldn’t rent units to people with children, claims a lawsuit filed by Fair Housing Center of the Greater Palm Beaches. The suit names the Shutters Condominium Association Inc., former association president Carol Ravantti-Lalla and unit owner Mildred Miner, who listed an ad on Craiglist explicitly banning kids among rental applicants. The non-profit said that since the Shutters is not an age-restricted community, its actions were in violation of the law.
