Rochon mansion misses sale, now up for auction

The 25,000-square foot Palm Beach County waterfront home owned by Richard Rochon, a longtime associate of H. Wayne Huizenga, failed to sell for its $31.9 million listing price. An auction date is set for July 11. The founder of private equity investment firm Royal Palm Capital Partners defaulted on his mortgage on the seven-bedroom house, and Thornburg Mortgage filed a foreclosure notice in December.
