Coastal insurance costs swell

Insurers fearing more intense storms in the Atlantic this summer and beyond are driving up premiums, a move that’s hitting owners of waterfront properties from Florida to Delaware. Those rising premiums have also pushed Floridians to get coverage from the state-backed Citizens Property Insurance Corp., now the state’s largest insurer.
