The judge in the bankruptcy proceedings for Fontainebleau Las Vegas urged the developer and creditors to push ahead with their own arrangements in advance of court decisions. After a four-hour hearing, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge A. Jay Cristol on Monday gave the parties a chance to continue mediation for another week. He said every participant will likely suffer a little pain as the arrangements are settled. Construction has been suspended at the $3 billion resort.
