The rich are starting to buy houses again, and the tentative return of confidence, coupled with the return of foreign buyers, has agents starting to smile anew. Patricia Delinois, president of Century 21 Premier Elite Realty, said once-empty open houses are drawing steady streams of prospective buyers. Adam Greenberg, a managing director for BayBridge, a Miami-based brokerage and mortgage banking firm, said there’s a more solid sense that the financial system will not collapse, allowing property appetites to grow.
