Developers of the Sea Gate Plaza in Fort Lauderdale hope long deferred
plans to expand the Broward County Courthouse will pave the way for
their project and spur other projects in the area. The

drawing board for two years, and local brokers say the potential for
downtown redevelopment has revived interest in that plan and others,
despite tight credit markets.
