Offices at CityPlace North adds two new tenants

Two new tenants have recently signed leases at the Related Companies’ Offices at CityPlace North in Palm Beach County, a few weeks after Related renovated the building. Civil engineering consulting firm Mathews Consulting has leased 4,800 square feet in the 72,535-square-foot building and will move to the space in March 2010. Christian Scholin, a law firm, has leased more than 2,000 square feet and has already relocated to the building.

Sunny Isles contract awarded

Miami-based Coastal Construction Group won a $9.2 million contract to build the Sunny Isles Beach Heritage Park and Parking Garage, a four acre multi-use facility in Sunny Isles Beach. Chairman and CEO Tom Murphy said 31 firms submitted bids for the project, which will include government offices and a three acre park featuring two playgrounds, a gazebo, a basketball court, an exercise trail, and a large play and event area.

Airport center gets three leases

Cushman & Wakefield secured three leases covering 35,000 square feet at the Airport Corporate Center, a 1 million-square-foot, 11-building mixed-use business park owned by Hines. Quadel Consulting Corporation and affordable housing services consultant, Brown’s Equipment Trader, a power generation company, and McQuay Latin America, an air conditioning, heating, ventilation and refrigeration company, are taking space in the complex. Richard Bamonte and Janette Driggers acted as the exclusive leasing agents. TRD
