South Beach’s former Gianni Versace mansion will open as a nightclub following a change of control. Fort Lauderdale attorney and investor Scott Rothstein purchased a stake in the property from owner Peter Loftin. Rothstein’s plans for the mansion, called Casa Casuarina, are modeled after Bova Ristorante, a Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton restaurant chain in which Rothstein is a partner.
