Palm Beach County Commissioners approved the Mayfair House Association’s request for an encroachment license that will allow the building to come up to Old Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach. The commission also agreed to waive a $75,000 fee. One portion of one condominium tower is six feet away from this right-of-way and the pool deck and concrete apron encroaches 10 to 15 feet into the right-of-way. Most condominiums in the area have been given similar permits.
