Prices of single-family homes in Palm Beach County rose from the first quarter but are still down 27 percent from a year ago, according to the Florida Association of Realtors. In the second quarter, the median price rose to $240,400, up from $229,200. Foreclosure rates fell in Palm Beach County, but rose in St. Lucie and Martin counties. Palm Beach, Miami-Dade and Broward, South Florida’s three largest counties, once one of the priciest metro markets in the country, now rank 38th, according to the National Association of Realtors.
