Drywall saga ends for family

The Suhajcik family of Boynton Beach has gone home — again. Two and a half years ago, they moved into a new house and were subjected to smells that never went away. Developer GL Homes told them their 6,000-square foot house was built with tainted Chinese-made drywall, and the family left the house for a rental apartment, paid for by the developer. They returned to their home after extensive renovations, but they are among the most fortunate ones. There are at least 600 drywall-related complaints on file with the state Department of Health.
