Witherell named new Freddie Mac COO

Mortgage giant Freddie Mac has named Bruce Witherell its new COO, effective September 14. Witherell was previously managing director and global co-head of residential mortgages at Morgan Stanley, and before that he spent 15 years at Lehman Brothers.
