WCI seeks auction OK

Bankrupt builder WCI Communities wants a court to allow it to auction a Pompano Beach condominium September 22. WCI, which went bankrupt in August 2008, has asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Del., to make a $46.7 million offer by Chetrit Group the opening bid at the auction. A court hearing is scheduled for September 2.
