Konover makes northward move

Konover South, a Deerfield Beach firm, purchased an undisclosed strategic stake in Blue Rock Partners of Tampa. David Coppa, a principal of Konover South, said Blue Rock principal Reuven Oved previously worked with Konover South’s parent, West Hartford, Conn.-based Simon Konover Companies, to develop a major hotel at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Conn. Blue Rock recently acquired the 390-unit Park at Dorchester and the 228-unit Park at Knightsbridge, both in Brandon, east of Tampa.
