National data showed improvement in manufacturing and pending home sales, but concerns about the sustainability of these upticks leave local economic observers concerned. Pending U.S. home sales rose more than expected in July to the highest level in more than two years, but that’s been pushed by a tax credit for first-time homebuyers that will expire in November. The Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches said pending home sales rose to 3,722 in Miami-Dade County, a 3.4 percent increase. Pending sales for condominiums rose by 6.9 percent to 3,848.
