A trio of Palm Beach County post offices will close in a wave of U.S. Postal Service cutbacks that will shutter 413 outlets by the end of the year. The West Palm Beach, Lantana and Boca Raton branches will solicit citizen responses to the plan. Lantana postal customers, many of whom are elderly and do not drive, have already put 2,000 signatures on a petition to protest the closure.
