Developers slide in water park proposals

A trio of developers want to build a water park next to Miami Metrozoo, and have submitted proposals to Miami-Dade County. Jacksonville-based PARC Management and Fort Lauderdale-based Recreational Design & Construction have bid. New York-based Aquatic Development Group also sent a letter of interest. The project could be valued at $40 million for the water park and entertainment center, which is supposed to also contain a hotel in the development plan. It’s a long-term undertaking, according to county documents that call for completion by 2021.
