Jones Lang LaSalle starts online commercial auction Web site

Commercial firm Jones Lang LaSalle has teamed up with Real Estate Disposition Corporation to start an online auction service for commercial property and loans, Bloomberg News reported. Real Estate Disposition runs residential property auction Web site www.auction.com, and it will add commercial properties, debt and bank-owned properties to the site. The first commercial auction will be for a 100,000-square-foot office space in Dayton, Ohio, on Oct. 15. The auctions will hopefully establish a pricing floor for commercial properties, said Guy Ponticiello, managing director at Jones Lang LaSalle.
