Drywall panel convenes next week

A panel of experts will lead a discussion on defective Chinese drywall in an event hosted by real estate consulting group Condo Vultures. The panel is scheduled for Sept. 22 at the Doubletree Grand Hotel just north of Downtown Miami. Attorney Allison Grant of the law firm of Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Gora, environmental engineer Jay Sall of Environmental Engineering & Consulting Services; and Chinese Drywall remediator Howard Ehrsam of Chinese Drywall Screening will discuss issues and concerns regarding the construction material. Drywall, which has sparked health concerns and inspired federal investigations, has affected an estimated 126,000 U.S. homes in 29 states.
