The Port of Miami tunnel project is still in question, but negotiations will continue until at least Oct. 8 to allow the city of Miami to secure its financial commitment to the $610 million project. Miami has to deliver a $50 million letter of credit to move the project forward. The Florida Department of Transportation has criticized the city’s delays and said it has jeopardized an important project. [Miami Herald]
