Palm Beach County tops single-home inventory
Palm Beach County has the smallest population in the three-county South Florida region, but has the largest number of single-family homes for sale. Consultancy group Condo Vultures reported that the county, which encompasses Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and West Palm Beach, has 9,787 single-family houses on the market. That’s about 35 percent of the total single-family inventory in the region, estimated at 27,850 houses. Miami-Dade County, with a population of 2.5 million, more than twice Palm’s 1 million residents, has 9,390 houses for sale.
