South Florida sees home sales drop

The tri-county region saw a 1 percent week-over week decline in
contracted deals, the first such drop since July. A report from Condo
Vultures tracked 17,694 deals. Palm Beach County
sales fell by 4.4 percent in the seven-day period ending Oct. 5, to
2,599 contracts, while Broward County saw a 0.4 percent decline to 2,599 and
Miami-Dade sales ebbed only 0.3 percent, to 7,922 contracts.
