The Realtors Association of Palm Beach County reported that September’s inventory of single-family homes was enough for seven months, the lowest level of unsold houses since December 2007. Condominium inventory shrank in September with 11 months’ worth of inventory available, down 80 percent from September 2007’s reserve of 57 months. Inventory has been dropping since March, said Craig Fialkowski, a realtor with Herman Group Real Estate in Palm Beach Gardens, who attributed some of the supply reduction to first-time buyers cashing in on the $8,000 tax credit.
