Manalapan mansion sells for $6.8 million

Stuart Subotnick and his wife, Anita, have sold their 1.6-acre estate at 1260 S. Ocean Blvd. in Manalapan for $6.8 million, according to the warranty deed filed Thursday. Subotnick is a former president and CEO of MetroMedia, managing director of Kluge & Co. and as a director with the Carnival Corp. A Florida partnership registered by Tonio Arcaini, 1260 Manalapan Properties LLC, was the buyer. Arcaini, currently of Gulf Stream, is president of TA-XAN AG, a food-additive company based in Wiesbaden, Germany. The Subotnicks bought the house in 2007 for $6.58 million. [Palm Beach Daily News]
